A part of me would love a clean sheet, but at the same time I don't want Pep getting ideas that we can go into next season with the central defenders we have currently got.

We are still a Vinny injury away from being bang average at the back again.

Leadership lost too.

He said yesterday that we need a back up in case vinny gets injured again so he is on the case

Not being funny but did you actually see how well (3 time Premier Lg winner) Clichy played on Saturday? And did you see how well Sterling took his goal? Oh some people..... sigh

Clichy was absolute class on Saturday but I don't believe for a second he is the answer to our left back next season, would I have him on one year extension as a backup left back with his homegrown status?

I know what you mean. Have been supporting City since 1950's. Not the correct Thread BUT - switched on BBC5Live this morning before 8-00am
and I thought it was a Rags Love in - Maureen this and Maureen that, RB was sensational - young Kid , and then the Journo. who was speaking happened to say
he had been following Rags for last 18 years. Then has the gaul to say finishing below City in the PL would be a greater achievement because of all the injuries Rags have suffered. I then switched the f*ckin' Radio OFF.

Haha

We have more in common with Leicester than you think. Both teams downed tools under an Italian manager the season after winning the title.

And Paul Dickov

4-2 to city. Jesus 2 Sane 2

Roberto Mancini and also the 1969 Cup Final. And a very special Giorgi Kinkladze goal against Leicester in a FA Cup tie we won 5-0

well, no matter what form they are in, they seem to have our number;

10 dec '16: Leicester 4-2 City. Leicester had won 1 in 8, City had lost 1 in 8.
6 Feb '16: City 1-3 Leicester. City had lost 1 in 11, Liecester had won 3 in 9 (title winning season)

bit doom and gloom and i honestly think this is our hardest of our 3 remaining but some smarts should see us through, even if only narrowly. This is a tough game im afraid.

Firstly, City had lost 1 in 7 (not 1 in 8) - and as you well know, that one loss was in fact the previous game against Chelsea where Aguero and Fern were sent off (thus unavailable for this one) and we were utterly shell-shocked after contriving to lose a game we should have had in the bag. We were not in any rich vein of form and probably would have lost to anyone that day.

Not saying it won't be a tough game, but to argue they have our number based on 2 data points, one of which is incorrect and misleading is a major stretch.

Like with all these middle-to-bottom table clubs (Leicester, Stoke, the rags etc) it'll be a parked bus and hoofball from the off.

That worked well against us earlier in the season but with Vinny back it's a whole different story.

Still, breaking them down will be tough. They will watch Jesus and Sane like hawks which will hopefully create space for the rest. Just need to be clinical when the chances afford themselves.

Same starting XI too much to ask for?

i should have said all competitions, which was 8 (lasereyes ;) ).

true enough, there's always context

Pep's tactics,strategy & selection were awful.

Failure to change after 15 minutes was a dereliction of responsibility.

Shell shocked......do you know much about WW1 ?

Wow so many people confident of a win on here. I see Leicester as the bogey team of the type of football we're playing. I am more worried they know how to beat us and we know they know and they know we kno.....

Having said that, this is the acid test for me, Pep has had long enough to suss them out, he now knows the prem, his players, he sees how Lei like to lump it fw to Vardy etc... I expect him too put out a winning tactics and team and put this bad run against Leicester to bed.

I am hoping for an emphatic win against Leicester

Let's hope Pep learnt his lesson because the set up at their place was very naive and frankly ridiculous
