As people said, Vinny is a bit of a worry. He's a nasty habit lately of the odd rash challenge and clearly dragging people down, and Steptoe could be just too much for him. If I were Rodgers I'd be targeting Vinny. Just hope he keeps his head screwed on tonight and plays a blinder.

Generally happy with the line up tonight but like some, I would have liked to see Stones alongside Laporte, that said, Vinnie is a true leader and will keep the team in line and revved up, just hope he doesn't get an early booking ... Great to see Phil Foden starting, he could do some damage tonight ..

I kind of agree with you there. Vardy will beat Kompany for pace. Phil seems a bit of a risk for such a big game.

So what pace merchant centre back did you want to start for City then?

I think it's different playing a packed defence like Burnley and a more progressive team like Leicester.

Personally I think Guardiola prefers Sterling on the left which takes Sane's regular position. It is then a choice of Bernardo or Mahrez on the right and there is only one winner there at present. Surprised Sane hasn't had a go on the right though (maybe he has but can't remember it). I think he could be quite effective in that role, cutting in and shooting.

Think he played on the right for Schalke a fair bit and did well. I always like to see Leroy in the team but Pep doesn’t quite seem to trust him these days.
