I want to believe no. I do think the Newcastle match was extremely fishy, but it may have had more to do with creating a spectacle by taking it to the last day of the season than tilting the scales for the scousers. We could get a bad decision - look at the Barnes penalty no-call. But if we are at the races, it will take 3 or 4 bad calls IMO to de-rail us. We are >40pts better off for a reason. Yes they have had a new Manager bounce, but there is a world of difference between having 80% possession against the likes of Arsenal and the 30 odd they are likely to have today. We have conceded 3 goals since the end of Jan - that's how miserly our defence has been. Yes we shipped 3 to Spurs in the CL, but one was illegal and it was also a game where we started 1-0 behind.

Bit of a surprise that. Personally think the pace of Sane out wide and Bernardo in the middle would have been better for this one as I think it will be quite an open game.
