Gundog had a good game. Edozie improved 2nd half. Palmer looked assured.

Glorified friendly - they all ran around a lot which is the main thing
 
Steffen by a country mile.

Palmer looked good for a kid on the big stage. Didn’t see what other people say they saw in Edozie. Thought he fluffed his lines when he had a decent chance to show something.

Good to get a few minutes in Rodri & Grealish, Ferna & Gundo ran themselves ragged, Mahrez had flashes of potential brilliance that came to fuck all (50% of his game!) and thought Bernardo pepped us up when he came on.
 
Ake was solid until the penalty, his positioning is excellent, Mendy looked like a footballer at times, which was a pleasant surprise, Palmer and Edozie had good and poor moments, but then so did everyone else, Steffen looked good and was a touch unlucky with the penalty. We need a striker
 
No players covered themselves in glory men and women of the match each and every City fan who travelled
 
The score is irrelevant. A point of concern for me is the overall lack of real pace in our midfield. I'm referring to players like Ferna, Rodri, Bernardo and Gundogan. We also must try and get a proper striker if Kane is impossible to get... the trouble is who else is available. And lastly I still think we need a fast left back who is also a proper defender.

And now the good news. If we can resolve the above points then the quadruple is guaranteed!!. Remember this post next May haha!.
