Leicester (N) - Community Shield | Post-Match Thread

Small margins. one mistake by Rodri/Ake. we lacked cohesion and fitness so it’s difficult to criticise. Pleased for Ian, showed humility when he scored. Sorry for Ake as he defended well other than the challenge.
the only thing I was disappointed about was Mahrez in the last 15 minutes. Decided he had worked hard enough and downed tools.
He was blowing out of his arse, so Pep should have subbed him.

I suppose the biggest worry for us is that the whole of our squad has played a lot of minutes in the last 18 months with not a lot of rest. I think we were a couple of games away from an all time record,

I don't think we can afford a slow start in quite the same way as last year, but we can't judge too much from this.

Disgusting coverage of us by matterface and dixon, lost count of the sly digs about money, squad size, chances created, controlled the 2nd half but you wouldn't think so listening to them 2 biased twats
Pundit and commentary team 2 ex-Arse , 1 Rag and a Leicester fanboy , expect a lot more of this , Peter Schmeichel , McPointy and Andrew Cole will be in our corner this season , City legends.

Was listening out for ITV to drop something Raggy in from the commentary, even though they were no part of this fixture.
Then mid way through the 2nd half Lee the dick Dixon started rambling about Ryan Giggs being super fast with the ball at his feet.
What a fucking cheese

You spelt **** wrong.

Also managed to slip in a few rag references to years they won the Cs

Exactly the sort of thing a bitter Rag and Scouser would say after losing it.

It’s a lovely piece of silverware, every single club in Europe has it (or their equivalent) in their honours lists, and managers like Pep always say it’s a proper trophy.

I’ll be over it by 21:00 tonight, but I’m very disappointed in losing.
It's a nice trophy to win in a glorified friendly, that's all!

I'm over it now mate: )

Leicester, Chelsea and the Dippers all away in Sept. Need to be in rhythm by then.
Need to be on it next week from the get go. Simply not acceptable to not play our strongest 11 whether players are unhappy or not. Pep needs to manage it.
