i hear quite often "flags dont matter" or "flags dont sing"

wouldnt mind seeing south stand like that for games

It was probably just a one off decisions but absence of the free flags has me wondering. Do you think people at the club have taken on board the Raggy and Dippery comments about "plastic flags" in cup games? I know some City fans complained it was "embaressing" for them. I just see it as a nice freebie for the matchgoing fans, that doesn't cost the club much or take too much effort to organise.

Having said that, if they are plastic or nylon, it could have something to do with the environmental/clean water drive the club is pushing this season too.

But last season once we got our act together in December our goalscoring numbers were pretty much on par with other seasons before it.

We pissed last season at s canter. No need to outscore opposition as we also had record clean sheets at the back.
 
Just for the fans that were saying we were at full strength we had our whole back four out, castagne evans, fofana and jj. I can’t see any body else winning league this season but you. You have so much depth in most positions.

Why would anyone at the club worry about a few feral dippers claiming they are too posh for plastic?

Have a load of respect for Watford as a whole after that game, they could have easily turned up and parked the bus, like so so many others would have done, and made a shit spectacle of it, but they didn't, they came and played the game in the right spirit and gave it a go and like I say, shit load of respect for them for that.

It was a great day out, made even more memorable by being a record result and my son’s first visit to Wembley with me. We were stopped on Wembley Way for a Talksport(?) radio interview with a couple of Watford fans, who were polite and gracious. Didn’t run into a single dickhead the whole time, including there and back into Central London where we were staying.

Sadly, it was made more memorable for how unlike it has been in recent years at Wembley.

And, yes, the Watford fans were magnificent towards the end, with the game long since lost, but wishing to let their team know how proud they were with the accomplishment of a great day out at Wembley.

Weird first comment, didn't have the balls to put which club you support I notice. Dipper or Rag from Bolton?

City took as many as Leicester did who haven't been to many Charity shields(unlike City fans in the past 5 years) and that's something like 3 Wembley appearance this calendar year in COVID times. Plus there's no saying when that was taken, no score or time on the screen there, points to it being before the game. Wouldn't get too chuffed if I were you.
