These games are glorified friendlies really. Abroad they carry more kudos. Considering the games are between the two main trophy winners of the domestic season it's strange the trophy is not considered a real trophy, unless the rags or dippers win it of course.

The late kick off killed it for many I think. If you go by train you'd be sweating on the last one back meaning to avoid that stress you'd need to stay overnight, adding to the cost. We're also in the shit end of the stadium for pubs. There might be a late flurry bulks our end out s bit, I reckon we've probably sold 12-15,000 at present.
Of course, they are only friendlies. I've only been to one, the one at Villa Park. Fair play to the hardcore but I'm not trekking all the way to London and back for a meaningless game. I'd be amazed if we've sold as many as you suggest to be honest.

Yes it sounds crazy but now we've been to Wembley so many times the novelty has well and truly worn off. I was there for the Villa game which I enjoyed, even more so when no fans were allowed soon after.

When you're young you travel all over and endure any hardship to follow City but as you get older you get a bit more comfort first. I think of you attend games as a group that makes a difference too as you make it a social event, going on your own doesn't have the same buzz.

Yes I'm not sure where the seat counters are someone normally knows how many tickets we've sold so far.

I'm sure the ones going will have s great day, I'm trying to resist that urge to cave in and book lol.

I'm going and looking forward to it !

Train 2 nights in a hotel and beer.
Why 2 night in a hotel? It’s a 5:15 kick off. Where are you travelling from?

Why count the beer? People seem to find it impossible to go to a match without drinking beforehand. Personally I drink a lot more watching a match on TV!

Your not me, if I’m going to that there London why not make a weekend out of it.

Just seen we haven't got the green man for this. What pubs are good on the east side of the ground? Apologies if answered already, couldn't find anything.

The Torch is fairly similar to The Green Man, probably the liveliest on the East side
