Ok plenty of assists I will grant you that. Stats don't lie. But he is a long way from controlling the midfield in a premiership game.That's rubbish. 1st half was all City. 2nd half was scrappy game, but Leicester didn't boss it. City just didn't control possession like we normally do and the game was very nervous with Leicester being just 1 goal away from a result for 45 mins. Leicester are also a good team. KDB had a really poor game. That's true, but the comment that he has been sussed is ridiculous. Top Assists in the Premier league.

Out of interest, what makes you think he's there to control the midfield ?

I think both Toure and Silva are capable at stages of a game of controlling the midfield. When we play a 3 , KDB has to be part of that and not just play as a 10 or a spare midfielder. So he has to do is fair share of pressing, tackling and taking the ball in tight spaces without giving it away. He gave the ball away so much in the 2nd half today I lost count. If we played a different system with 2 deeper midfielders that might suit him better. But I want to see him pulling up trees in this system against big teams for 90 mins. He gets bullied too easily.

I think he's better starting from a wider position as his crossing is superb as he showed in the 1st half today. Just don't think he has the balls to mix it with your archetypal premier league yard dog in central midfield.

The stats today re pass completion for KDB are nonsense. He was terrible today, and it's extraordinary it took so long to haul him off.
Fuck me, the way the media and Leicester players have made out Sterling was 10 yards offside and stood on kaspers cock. Just seen it and I doubt he is even offside and Sterling touches fuck all of the ball and then touches nothing.

I had to chuckle when Motson in all seriousness asked Kaspar for what the Old BBC Fart thought would be the definitive statement on the first goal!
