So why send anyone on loan then? Shouldn’t the likes of Callum Doyle, Tommy Doyle and Harwood-Bellis be training with our first team if it’s better than playing regular men’s football?
Harvey Elliot spent a year on loan in the Championship and is now starting Champions League knock out games, and he’s 6 months younger than McAtee.

you can only keep so many, so best prospects stay and train with first team other wise end up in joe royle situation watching first team coming out to train he said when do they stop coming lolMcAtee should have gone on loan. What is he learning by continuing to play EDS football?

Also one of the better possesion side in the division. Top 6-7 for possesion home and away, i checked when he made the move.Gaining experience in case we sell him soon?
