Exactly what my Mrs has been saying, still OK going forward but not as keen to get back into his defensive role, at almost 32 maybe he needs to adapt his game into a more defensive minded one now, going up and down the pitch will take its toll eventually and it seems the years have caught up with Evra, but Bacon will want a fullback who can do the whole job for the season not just the bits.

Vidic, I hope they put their hopes in him coming back from an ACL reconstruction as the player he was before, he won't, he may still be good, but he won't be the same player.
