He was also an engaging phone-in host on Radio Lancs (I think it was) around the early 90s. Spoke his mind without being a WUM.
Scored some great goals and was an asset to every team he played for.

Played against him in the late 80s. Think he was playing for Burnley Bank Hall in a West Lancs League match. He was getting on a bit but you could see his class. Was a brilliant player in his day. RIP.
