It gave me a good living for 38 years and you get a feel for who to lend to or not quite quickly.

I`d definitely advise people not in the business not to lend money to anyone, if you don`t know what you are doing you can get burned.

Yes, you opened with the money lender bit :-) and I agree with your observations.

I was trying to be ironic about how you did it for a living while pointing out all the trouble associated with doing it on a personal al level. Clearly, I missed the target! I’m on a roll….missed irony in another thread and then couldn’t accomplish it here. Maybe irony and I are not the friends I thought we were?!

Avoid shouting (i.e. ALL CAPS) in threads and txt spk, as it has a habit of annoying other users.

Like I said, I’m not shouting (i.e. I’m using it for emphasis for an occasional word that feels like it requires emphasis).

As you will note, I don’t post in “ALL CAPS,” as requested by the Rules, and only rarely capitalize the very occasional word. Sorry if that has “a habit of annoying” you, but I’d politely suggest you might be able to look through it, or even past it, rather than dwelling on the size of the letters in that one word, as opposed to the message it’s trying to convey.
