Lennox Lewis

Amir Khan has always had a weak chin .. you could see that from his early fights even .. Its not a matter of being knocked out, its how quickly you recover .. Haye in my opinion can recover from flush punches to the chin or jaw .. AK however got knocked the fuck out .. he was sparkled and didn't recover ..

So many boxers have weak chins but become champions .. its all a matter of how quickly they can get their strength, senses and awareness back ..

The two Kiltschkho brothers have been good fighters, not great .. Haye has the potential to be great, but there is no one out there for him to fight like in the old days .. So he has taken the step up for which he should be applauded as he cleaned up at his previous weight .. so he can only fight and beat who is put in front of him. I like it when fighters show balls and don't duck the big fights ...

Joe Calzaghe has not got the reputation in America because he ducked the big fights when he was in his mid 20's .. now its easy to say he is great because he has beaten B-Hop and RJJ .. but he would have had the Hall of Fame status if he fought them when he and they were younger and fitter ..

Anyway, just my opinion ..

Exactly. They would probably have beat the crap out of him.

He would not go to the US but they would not come to the UK.

david haye has no chance against the klitchko bros, he is way to small. lewis would kick his arse easily, he needs to fight at his own weight if he wants to be a long time champ. i think he is a fool to even think about it.

No one besides you lot have mentioned Haye/ Lewis. As for being 'too small', Tyson wasn't the tallest and Holyfield wasn't the heaviest.

but they both had great chins

And Haye has speed and a puncher's chance! Ask Lewis about fighters with puncher's chances.

I'm sure he could enlighten you on the subject...

yeah i know what you mean but they get found out eventually, david tua had one of the hardest punchest ever known but lewis didnt even give him a round

Come on .. any fighter back in the mid 90's early 2000's .. had to go over to the US .. Naseem did it, Bruno did it, Lennox did it, Hatton did it .. all the fighters who were world class hopefuls had to go over there and beat them in there back yard, that's why hatton is loved in the US, Naseem was for a while .. because they took the step and won .. Calzaghe never did, thats why in my opinion he will never be a great even if he is unbeaten ..

that is very harsh one thing your forgetting is when calzaghe was younger roy jones and bhop where both boxing middleweight then jones ducked calzaghe and jumped straight to light heavy then heavy, this whole you have to box in america thing is bollox, he was the champion its up to the challengers to come get the title

The best boxers in the top 3 divisions are all European.

The US has had its day, there should be more big fights over here and they can have the Welter, Light and Straw bobbins.
