Hi mate...no, Benatia seems to be a replacement for another CB on Juve's squad that was out of contract this summer..wouldnt be surprised if Juve have offered Bonucci a new/improved contract and he stays....dont think this one is happening...
According to Italian sources, Juventusmanagement have just rejected a new offer, amounting to €48/£40m, submitted by Manchester City for Italian international centre-back Leonardo Bonucci (29).
Meanwhile, both Antonio Conte, mentor of his (together with Giampiero Ventura, when they were together at AS Bari), and José Mourinho, are planning to try signing him, respectively for Chelsea and Manchester United. Bonucci, a core-player and a powerhouse for Bianconeri, is however planning to stay put, at least for the time being.

They've got Pjanic already in - so is he his replacement?

Juventus co-fixer and transfer strategist Patrici, along with Guiseppe "Beppe" Marotta, are preparing Juve fans for the imminent departures of both Paul Pogba and Leonardo Bonucci in a statement issued late yesterday.
As has been speculated, following the announcement by Gonzalo Higuain a few days ago that he wants to exit Napoli immediately, they are now ready to invoke the €94m release clause with either payment in full or far more likely cash plus players, likely to be Marco Sturaro, Robert Pereyra and Simone Zaza and/or Daniele Rugani. Negotiations on this are scheduled for Monday, 18th July in Naples with Di Launentiis.
The official confirmation that the club has signed defender Medhi Benatia from Bayern Munich yesterday paves the way for the for the sale of Bonucci to City and Paul Pogba to Manchester United. Miralem Pjanic already in place effectively replaced the Frenchman
The likely fee for Pogba is likely to be in the region of €110m (£96m) whilst City are going to have to have to spend around €67m (£53.5m) to land LB. There is no point in City pussyfooting around trying to get one of the top three defenders in world football on the cheap. I strongly believe that an offer which fully reflects his reputation and talent will prise him away. City though are going to have to cough up the full amount as they will also have to do to land Stones.

It seems as if he is saying they are signing replacements for now, but it could also mean they are looking for replacements for that eventuality, in the future.
Italian clubs are always twisting words.
If we get Bonucci though, we potentially have a defence.
