You can sugarcoat it all you like but I think 60million quid is obscene to pay for any player let alone a 29 year old defender. He's a fantastic player don't get me wrong but not for that price

Juve wouldn't want to lose Pogba and Bonucci in one window. They'd look like a smaller club.

So...with Pogba wanting out, we agree to show our interest in Bonucci so that when he stays at Juve, the Juve fans are less unhappy about losing Pogba.

Pogba goes to Real and we get Kroos.

City, Real, Juve all happy.

It seems players are alot more reluctant to push through a move this window. To miss out on Bonucci, Laporte and potentially Sane would be terrible.

If he's a fantastic player who will improve us in an area we've struggled with for 2/3 years I'm not sure where this sugarcoating comes from?
Fans who would rather us have a healthy bank balance as opposed to a healthy trophy cabinet are getting their priorities all wrong.

No way it's anywhere near close as I'm sure our itks would be racing to be the first to say! Lol looks extremely unlikely we will get him which is gutting to be honest as after missing out on Laporte and more than likely bonnuci then it's another A-list target. I wonder how pep will feel the longer things go on?

Just my own theory!

I expect Bonucci would never leave Juve, and their fans would riot if he did. Our squad is large and we need to get rid of some soon, whilst we seem a shoe-in for Stones. Two new centre-backs this season seems excessive, though I could be wrong.

Pogba only really wants Real and united are pretending to be a big team.

Would expect us to get over Bonucci by signing Stones in a few days and then Kroos in a couple of weeks.

All just theory as I say - and I am one for conspiracies so it could be nonsense!

I swear you are cribbing about us not signing anyone on every thread. You don't sign players every day. Give it time, also Pep isn't going to be pissed off not getting Bonucci. It was a long shot and he knows it. The squad he has isn't shabby either and we have already added players to it and will definitely add more.

Actually it's the factual current position
Yes I accept Sane and Stones will probably sign and Zaba will probably leave but at the ,
Moment none if this has happened .Things change rapidly Laporte this window for example I could list numerous others over the last ten years that we due to sign imminently and also leaving Soon Yaya being one .
We have different opinions simple , I prefer a younger hungrier squad and players around 26 .We have one of the oldest squads as it is that's another fact .
I am pleased that you appear to have a medical knowledge superior to mine and I hope Gundogans is fine by September ( I am sure he will be he is a signing that excites me )

He doesn't have superior medical knowledge. Its a known fact and even mentioned by Gundogan 2-3 times that he is aiming for the derby.

I agree but hey that's my opinion be careful you are not allowed one on here . He will fit right in with all our other old players
