Guardiola is a big admirer of Bonucci..he even said before Bayern Juve games last season that the Italian is the best defender in the world..
 
We only usually bid if we know player is interested and personal terms have been discussed out . Not sure this is genuine or just a cheeky bid out there knowing we have no chance of getting player to try n move stones
 
Di Marzio is usually pretty reliable, but I think he's got this one wrong.
 
If we have offered €7m a year net I wonder what he is on now - no doubt his agent is in on this - perhaps he will agitate for a move or at least a similar package from Juve. We are not the kind of club who just bids for players we always get some form of encouragement first- it will be interesting to see how this plays out.

No offense mate I do respect that you have your source, I respect that you give info when you hear it. I don't doubt that you are making it up, but I believe that there are only 11 people that know what is happening at city, the 6 members of the board, txiki, khaldoon, pep, the sheikh, and ferran.
 
Maybe this was a leak by Bonucci's agent, trying to get a new contract for his player....still not sure why we'd be after signing 2 CB's...that would be a signal that we not happy with any of our CB pairings last season?....My only concern is if we have made this offer because there has been a issue in Stones talks?

You've obviously never worked in an office if you think it's just the higher echelons of the club know what is happening at City

Exactly.

Anyone with even an ounce of intelligence can understand that the likes of IBH is feeding on scraps,but its those scraps that the forum enjoys and appreciates.

Not saying he doesn't rate him but there was a post from a Bayern fan on one of the Pep threads stating that we will have to get used to Pep praising both our players and opposition players to the skies when we we play them.
If he was saying it at a time when they were not playing them it would be a bit more significant.
