Sorry all, google translate not great.....seems like this could go either way, with Juve considering making him the highest paid player on the squad (6mil euros a year)...not sure what this would mean to Pogba as I'm sure he would then also want a large increase....

juve, Bonucci pressed by Guardiola: you can stay with a renewal of 6000000
Guardiola did not give up: he wants to bring the defender to the City. But Leo could refuse if extended to 2021 with an increase engagement

July 11, 2016 - MILAN
Even Leonardo Bonucci could fly in the Premier League. If the bank is ready to folly United to snatch Pogba to Juventus, it is equally determined to make Pep Guardiola in order to secure the Juventus defender. In Corso Galileo Ferraris are not offered by City officers arrived, however, the pressure of the Catalan technical against Bonucci is very strong. An estimate that is deeply rooted as to be manifested on many occasions by the same Guardiola. The defender is tempted by the project, but if Juventus propose the renewal, maybe 6 million per season, could alienate the British temptation. To understand if the Juventus management is disposed to such an investment to lock one of the pillars of the defensive BBC. A tremendous esteem in which it would be impossible to say no, but that could result in the sortie of other stars bianconere to touch up their engagements.

OFFER - Bonucci these days you are giving a few relaxing days in Formentera. The City came an offer dizzying: 8 million euro net per season until 2021. More than twice the current salary (3.7 million annually awards more): figures that would stagger anyone. Besides the proposal monstre from economic point of view there is also the presence on the bench of the best coach in the world (Guardiola) to act as a catalyst for Bonucci, who, at 29 years old and in full soccer maturity, is reflecting together with his agent Alessandro Lucci on the Channel sirens. Marotta and Guild Juventus jewels are not on the market. Even in the face of shocks offers (60 million euro), subject to an express wish of the players in question to leave Turin.
SCENARIOS - So far, Leonardo Bonucci is not in action on the ground of possible negotiations, leaving the field to the prosecutor who recently flew to Manchester just to listen to the offer of Citizens. Leo is closely tied to the environment Juventus, with whom he established a visceral relationship. Leader in the field and absolute fan favorite as evidenced by the deafening decibels of J-Stadium, when, on the occasion of the formations or a goal, is announced her name. If Juve him propose a maxi-renewal until 2021 (making him the highest paid footballer in the club), Bonucci could give up the exciting challenge of moving on to Guardiola court. Unsellable even Daniele Rugani, asked for after Musacchio from Villarreal and viewfinder also of Rome and Naples.

Apart from the two which have supposedly been rejected?

All sounds like bullshit to me does this story, he'll renew at Juve.

I agree mate....wouldnt be surprised if we hear that Juve have a nice pay increase waiting for him, when he gets back from Holiday...

He just signed a contract renewal last year. Are we expected to believe that Juventus are willing to suddenly double his wages guaranteed until he's 34 all because Guardiola came knocking?

Seems unlikely, particularly as it encourages the rest of their stars to demand more too.

Only Sport Mediaset, right? They've been cold on him leaving, while GDS have been more positive. We'll see, though if there was any chance of him coming before, it's looking less likely now.

Yep:

Just not sure what him signing a contract extention last year, has to do with today ? No offfence meant!

His signing a contract extension last year makes it less likely he would be offered another this year, effectively doubling his wages, just because Pep came knocking.

This is made even more unusual because he was part of a group of players who were all extended last year as the "core" of the club, all of whom will now expect similar upgrades.

Not sure why we are getting played by most of our targets? Feels like 2009 again which is fucking bizzare coming of last summer when all of our targets wanted to sign for us

I personally think this won't happen, don't think Juve will sell and have absolutely no need to. Bonucci could play at a high level for them until he's 35.

"all" our targets? None of our targets have actually played us. Laporte wanted to come until Bilbao made him the highest paid player in franchise history. Bonucci was always a long shot.

That's hardly all our targets. We've got the money, the success and the best manager in the world as a carrot and if players don't want that, it's their loss. Nothing like 2009 at all.

You are completely right. Can't see him signing a new contact.

Bonucci is a fan favorite and all but he's been at the club for 6 years and won enough titles. This is great opportunity for him in the footballing as well as the financial sense. He will be playing for the best coach in the world, grow even more as a player and also earn double his current wages.

I'm hoping he decides to come to us. Bonucci is world class and will be worth whatever we pay for him and could play for us for 4 years. If he comes, we will have the best defense in the league and the Etihad could become a fortress once again.
