we have to play all players in pre season games, regardless of whether they're going or not. Imagine it gets to mid august & a deal is place to sign benjani for example. By not playing him means he has no match fitness, which means any likely deal may be jeapodised. A buying club will want the player to be as ready as possible & if they had 2 possible players to choose from, they may opt against buying our player if the other player is fitter & more ready. Does that make sense cos I just really confused myself!!!

Exactly. I have a feeling he will appreciate in value over there and Jo we will probably get more as well in the end, not what we paid but getting that way.
