A standard 'e' at the end of a French word is normally unvoiced but the 'é' ('e' acute) is pronounced 'ay'. So Sané is pronounced 'Sanay' the same as paté is prounced 'patay'
Yes. It's a French name, so if you want to pronounce it properly treat it as French.

Well, yes, except – sorry to be pedantic – but strictly speaking what laserblue has transcribed would inevitably be pronounced as a diphthong. Whereas the French é is a monophthong. Not the same sound, I'm afraid. Not that anyone'll give a toss at the Etihad if we get him.

I thought we made it pretty clear a few weeks ago that we don't care about all this foreign shite. He's in England and if he wants to stay here he will bloody well integrate. He can have Zaba's spot in the chippy queue and his name will be Sane as in Kane or Dane or Maine.

Disgrace that a foreign type is getting a job that should have gone to Aaron Lennon or Andros Townsend in the first place

My theory, Sane will replace Bony, and be used as a striker , Navas will go to Seville and Mahrez will replace him on the wing.
