He can't drop his wages or girlfriend/baby mama will be getting on down the road and finding a new mark who makes more money.

She should had told him not to move from City. Maybe she is working behind the scenes now to get the move back to Manchester. That is dedication to City:-)

Or because she can read the signs on shops and communicate with people when she's out. Not to mention understand what is did on the radio and television.
