Exactly what I was thinkingThe cnut Pavkov is probably a scouse supporter, hope he gets similar in his next game he plays the cnut..
Chris Smalling doesn't like this postReally so many things to be furious about with that reckless challenge, worsened by the Serbian player's response after. Shocking but really pleased that the referee did not hesitate with the straight red.
A big reason most will agree, I think you have to hand out reds more often before it gets to the point clowns like this defender keep pushing the limits of fairplay to negate an advantage
Didn't know where better to put this
If any Germans could give a quick simple shortened translation that'd be great. But the basis is that our Sané and Gundogan seemed to be on the end of some quite racist stick from some German fans yesterday. You don't need to speak German to pick up on some of what he says, starting at around 1.10 in the video.
Thanks.Just had the missus watch it to translate (as my German isn’t good enough for how quickly he was talking) and it is pretty jarring, disgusting:
“He’s saying that several men behind him throughout the match were using very racist slurs against Sane and Gundogan, and others. Though he only mentioned them by name. In the second half he turned around to confront them, because no one else would and he felt he had to. The conversation escalated into more racist slurs, at which point one of the guys said something along the lines of “this place is going to ****, we need another little Austrian”, and while he felt no violence against him or his family, he is asking everyone to please speak out against racism like this, because if we don’t it only continues. He was very affected by the interaction.”
I have lived in Germany for around 30 months on two different periods, first around 2012-13, then 2016-17.Thanks.
That's a bit shitty to say the least. I always (wrongly) assumed Germany and it's mainstream football culture was above this.
