if true kolo may be forced straight back into action

Lescott (ankle) and Bent (groin) just walked off from training, back to pavilion. FA checking on injuries #eng

Our next game is 10 days away, if he's still injured then, I think Savic will come in

Not too keen on Kolo, I would put Savic in, he would have an easy 1st game too against Wigan

If all our england lot came back with injuries we could still field...

----------------- Pant --------------

Zaba --- Kompany --- Savic --- Clichy

--------- De Jong ---- Yaya ---------

----- Aguero ---- Silva ---- Nasri ----

-------------- Dzeko ----------------

:)

Another option could be Micah at centre back and Zabs at right back but I think that Robbie will go for Kolo or Savic

Yer - because the rest aren't internationals either

I think Savic will come in rather than Kolo simply due to fitness and match practice. Kompany is a good leader of the back line so he should be fine, plus Wigan aren't exactly prolific up front are they? I'm not too worried.

hopefully it isnt too serious but would be good to get a look at what savic is capable of after the preseason

Is Kolo elligible after his drug 'ban' ?

I've not seen anywhere that he is, mind you I never saw anything officially saying he was banned either.

Problem is he hasn't played in a very long time, I wouldn't want to throw him straight in to the deep end as it normally takes a match or two to get back into the rhythm.

Aye but you always expect a few injuries coming back from the England squad, they are bloody useless.

I have a little more faith in the others returning injury free.

Thanks, you'd think that City might have said something about it.
