Strange. Hughes has looked very composed to me in all this. Contrast that with Moyes' behaviour: complaining that City are actually just trying to spoil Everton's pre-season and that he runs Everton as its not like any other football club!! Never mind making the whole thing public on your website.
Moyes is losing it big time by postponing the inevitable and placing Kenwright in this position. Moyes' ego is out of control and it's no wonder with Kenwright saying he is the World's best manager.
Just how is Hughes supposed to realise that Everton are so different in their bizarre set up than any other club?
Moyes is now demonstrating his limitations as a manager trying to keep an unhappy player and, by some accounts, pissing off the rest of his players who must be considering their own contract arrangements if this is how he behaves when another club comes in for them.
I will be fascinated to see how he reacts when Lescott goes.
