Listening to this I'm sure some of our fans were happier in the doldrums of division 2

One thing I really don't like about any forum is the flaming, general abuse, and downright rudeness towards visitors and each other.

Alright, alright, you're on my case because this is our forum and we defend it at all costs, free speech and all that, and if we get abuse we give it back...

But I'm sure there's a better way to interact without falling to such low levels of humanity, don't you think ?

How about being magnaminous (without resentment, showing courtesy etc) because were it not for our very benevolent owner, we would also be in a situation somewhat like other clubs - no transfer kitty, holding on to our best players in face of tempting offers elsewhere, struggling to make headway, always being the perennial under-achiever, butt end of many jokes....

Given our loan of Jo to Everton again, I really didn't expect Moyes attitude in all this - he seems like a dour, wronged Scotsman somehow, reminding me of another Scotsman not far from here - but I'm not descending into a load of vitriolic abuse against the man, his club, his chairman, or their supporters. We have to take the publicity and backlash on the chin, and get on with it.

We are already the club that other clubs like to hate. We have taken Chelsea's place at the top of that list. BUT we don't need to rise to the bait. We can be courteous, even against difficult posters.

End of. Expecting to be chastised a bit, but will take it on the chin (grin)

So you would agree Everton are a smaller club than Blackburn and Leeds?

And Nowrich if we're being pedantic! They finished 3rd in 1992.

It's a fairly interesting league table if anyone is interested. QPR are 5th, Liverpool are 6th, and look which two clubs City end up directly above!

I'm sick of people that come on and say we have no history and then have to go back to the mid 80s themselves for more than one off success. Or Rangers and Celtic fans talking about us buying success!

why are we the club to hate ??,i have mates from all over the country, city are in many cases their second team and many cant wait for us to shove it up fergie,the spanish waiter and chelski.

i am sorry people, i do agree with all of you just a bit pissed off that mee ma has told me i av to be in by alf nine. and it's not a school night! good luck to city this season though i don't think you'll need it as you are well better than us laaaa, oh and by the way does any one have any tips to combat my halitosis? any help would be great.

Who ever signed off the Jo loan deal out before we signed Lescott, when it was well documented he was to be one of our main summer targets, needs to be put in the stocks outside COMS and pelted with those shit new Balti pies.
