The latest tirade of abuse in which it seems all of you have contributed is because a dodgy sunday paper says we will report you.But if and im only saying "if" we can prove you made an illegal appraoch to the player do you think City are above the premiership rules? What do you think should happen?

I have to admit i was suprised Moyes resisted so much..he isnt stupid and knows how this works. I think he knows something and decided not to let you get away with it...just my opinion as opposed to fact.

Moyes knows absolutely nothing, he is bitter as Lescott is his best defender that is it. If he tries to pursue this he will look even more stupid, the truth of the matter is this deal was probably done a while ago but Everton wanted to get some cover in before they let him go, they also wanted to make it look as if they tried their best to keep him to appease the fans.

I suggest Everton just get the deal done and move on or their season will suffer as a result and £20m + is a joke he is worth about £12-15m so they should be happy, they can go and raid the championship and league 1 now for some more unpolished gems.

Regardless of what City may or may not have done during their pusuit of Lescott, Everton will not go to the FA. If they go to the FA with their dossier and their is an investigation it will become obvious that sections of the Everton board were up for a sale, have been negotiating with City behind Moyes back, Moyes may have 'vented his spleen' at City and Hughes but his real anger is aimed at his own Board who have undermind him this summer - hence his 'I make the decisions at Everton' rant. I personally think this may be the begining of the end for Moyes at Everton - following his rant's at Hughes that were obviously aimed at his employers, one or two could be forgiven for asking 'who does he think he is'. Given the disquiet behind the scenes, the fact they have pocketed close to £25m in cash - there is no way that Everton will wash their considerable mountain of dirty linen in public. For all the reasons cited why Barcelona are seeking to forge relations with the new power in world football, Moyes has scored a huge own goal for Everton here - City will get revenge on Moyes over the next few years by bidding for players he wants etc... we can well afford to make his life difficult because we exert huge influence over the transfer market.

Like ive said my problem of late is the EFc fans on here giving out nnothing but abuse on our own forum, fine, say what you want on your own but on here i ask that you be reasonably polite and you keep it real.

That's bull. I've been reading this forum for a month, and all you do is tell people to fcuk off, regardless of what they say. It seems that unless someone is crawling up your arse, you view everyone as an enemy.

If we had a computer type programme that you could enter the requirements of a player we needed we would have entered this

*Premiership proven

*Left sided/footed

*International(preferably English)

*Imposing in the air

*Chips in with goals

*25-28 yr old

The only name that would have come out of this programme is Joleon Lescott so In my mind the price is irrelevant and no I'm not being arrogant or flippant its just a fact that because of our wealthy owners we can do business in this way.

We are fortunate and I for one am very grateful for the FACT that we can target and acquire players of this quality.

Just a general question but if for arguements sake its proved Man Utd tapped up Torres and eventually signs him. What should happen? I mean actually proved not just a club saying we suspect. Should it be brushed under the carpet?

i dont think you can tap someone up when you are totally skint:)

I once had a drunken conversation with Gordon Taylor (PFA) at a wedding ( i was drunk he wasnt lol) when Nick Barmby had asked to leave for Liverpool and he said all teams tap up players but to different extents, i just wonder if you tried to steamroller us as opposed to a subtler approach who knows ??? No one on here does but yet we are the scum of the earth. I have heard that Lescott was sent home because it came to light he has had the details of his salary at city for a while, but thats only hearsay
