Lescott today...

FFS! How many points has his "unlucky" cost us in recent games?!
he was better than kompany for the first few months of the season imo when kompany had a few fuck ups and lescott cleaned them up well, possibly saving us a few goals and points in the process, he's better than klumsy kolo, remember where weve come from, were not always going to have it our way and its unfortunate that TWICE, just twice, he put his body on the line and its come off with a negative output

Two games in a row that is(oops, forgot Norwich) I can just about forgive the own goal, but raising his arms like he did today? That's not forgivable, imo.

All we need is our two centre backs to be more composed they have been a little headless chickens in a few games! Patience and composure

100% agree. I would rather think back to the beginning of the season and the points he possibly saved us. Mistakes happen to every player and for me he played his part in us going so long without a loss.

Sadly, it is a natural reaction that must be fought against. It was DEFINITELY NOT "hand to ball," but it seems like "intentional handball" is almost a thing of the past. Today, you have to ACTIVELY move your arms away or behind you to not get called.

I think he has been a bit unlucky. The new Dunnie Monster, perhaps??!!

Lescott has been fantastic this season, his mistakes get punished vinnys dont seem too. lets play kolo regular instead of him NOT

Been our best defender this season made a bad mistake tonight but that's it. The own goal V Liverpool could have happened to anyone. Issue is when he first came he wasn't performing well and people are waiting for that one moment to jump on his back again
