I can definately see Kolo 'cube' Toure coming here personally. He only has 12 months left on his contract apparently so a swap will suit both sides given the loss in form of Micah Richards, who is a self confessed Arsenal fan so it'll be his dream move. I think that'd be a good deal personally.

Lescott? I don't think it'll happen personally. Just a gut feeling though.

Richards is 20 years old and had a poor season! Why are people so ready to write him off? I was all for dropping him to the bench last season but never for getting rid. I think he will return to form this season because I believe he will work hard over the summer with the u21 internationals and a good pre-season. I'd rather keep Richards and forgo Toure thank you very much.

I hope you are right about Richards, but the word was last year that Hughes wasnt too impressed by his other activities such as his DJing at the clubs. He also had a problem last year adding bulk in the gym and losing a bit of pace. I agree that at 20 he does have time on his side if he changes his attitude.

Their was a short article about moyes wanting a couple of players so hes already looking to buy. I always think as well, when a manager comes out and says a player is not going anywhere they usually mean it, but nowdays if City are interested I think it means, "Lets see your zillions" and take it from there. Dont forget its good to throw money around then we cant be accussed of ruining the game, as long as we pay what theyre worth and with City they get the cash, none of that buy now pay later crap, which now makes me think Lescott will come Defo.

He is "only" on £40,000 a week, apparently we have offered a "double your salary" deal

I have an inkling that he might, all of a sudden, be keen to move.

You haven't offered anything, again its just lazy journalism. How could you offer anything unless the club had given you permission to speak to the player?

Step 1) Offer us money we can't refuse (£20m)
Step 2) Speak to Lescott and offer him £80k a week
Step 3) Lescott decides if he wants to join... bare in mind Jo didnt have a good word to say about you's so that could impact on Lescotts desire to join you (providing he's not motivated by money).
