Lescott

What game did you watch...

he was superb in the second half but a walking disaster in the first.

seriously, did nobody see him fuck up the entire line by playing the WHU forward onside into the box? how much space, right through the middle? Lescott moving towards goal, playing him on at every stage, with his hand in the air?

until that point we were walking it. from that moment fear spread through the team.

his part in the goal has been noted as well.

fair play to him, he was outstanding in the second half, but how can he possibly be our man of the match?

Thank god I was beginning to think I was the only one who noticed that.

Lesscott have been very good recently though.

quality.

i just hate it when he lumps it forward for no reason.

he did it 4 times today when he had about 10 seconds on the ball.

i've never seen a footballer look so uncomfortable on the ball in all my life.
Yes, agree totally. He does the basics very well but when in possession he dwells to long because he's lacking slightly in ability or confidence. Hopefully he can improve on this before somebody picks up on it. Also drifted off for their goal. Other than that 7/10.

Not been his greatest fan since he has arrived. Has been playing very well though lately, won a lot of important headers for us aswell.

Just got caught out once though, when he didn't track his runner in the first half. Joe Hart made a great save on the one on one.

Other than that top game :)

he was magnificent today ( and has been for the past few months)

I thought he was MotM too (though Barry had a good game, especially first half).

This is the fourth or fifth time that I have thought he was our best player this year.

JL and VK are slowly becoming one of the best central defensive pairings in the country, if not the best, though I doubt they'll get any credit in the national media.
