Lesson learned eh,Bob?

Yesterday was a great day.The only fly in the ointment for me was, starting a post complimenting Bob and some posters reading it as critisism of him, then throwing out personal abuse.

At best it was backhanded compliments though. To me, it is ridiculous to suggest that Mancini's knowledge of football is any less than the collective knowledge of Bluemoon, let alone that of the individual poster. To infer that he didn't know that we could (and should) attack as Bluemoon was telling him is beyond laughable (as is the nonsense about this being all Kidd's doing, which is nothing more than the last desperate throes of the anti-Mancini posters weak and feeble attempts to discredit him in spite of excellent results under him).

I have posted this before, but it is clear that Mancini came in and immediately realised that the team had a huge problem with shape and organisation when we didn't have the ball. He 100% rightly concentrated on sorted out that most fundamental of errors.

We are not there yet, but we are significantly improved and can now let the attackers off the leash a little.

Mancini knew this from day one. Much of Bluemoon, and all of the previous regime had no idea and would be better suited to managing school playground football.

We will continue to improve and the future is hugely exciting... (unless we bring in Jose when we can expect even more solidity and significantly less attacking intent)

Where's Mr Happy tonight, simon23 ?.....Did he predict a Burnley win ? LOL

Im on holiday so no rehualr access to a PC

I dont think i predicted a burnley win...did say it would be ahard game as they are fighting relegation (got that bit wrong...Ive never seen suck a poor performance from a prem team as burnley showed in the opening 45mins...it wasnt even Sunday league stuff)....that said we played very well yesterday with tevez bellamy johnson and ade all playing very well

Im not sure about the central midfield pairing though of Barry and Vierra against better opposition....burnley did their best to make them look world beaters and even then Viera struggled at times (esp int eh second half) and barry looks a shadow of his former self at present (im convinced he is playing with an injury.....his movement/running is very laboured/awkward)

the partnership of ade and tevezs looked like it wass tarting to gain momentum yesterday....tevez dropping slightly deeper at times int eh first half with ade playing ahead of him....looked good

Oh and by the way sky blue,....I aint miserable...far from it...i just expect a higher standard of football than what ive been watchin until recently...when i think there is something that can be improved on ill say it....afte all it is a football forum and all about opinions...if you dont realise that then mayne you shouldnt bother being on here as if you only come on here to try and gain a bit of one upsmanship on people maybe you need to get a life????

I come on here to talk about city (yes evn on my holiday occasionally....after all the surf is flat and there aint that much to do)

Only on the day of our best Prem result away, and top four place would our fans engage in verbal or physical fisticuffs.

Makes me wonder what some would do if we won the Champions League?

Well I'd give you a slap - prick
