I hope some posters will appreciate why I did not want to drop a hand grenade re Carlos situation earlier in the week.

The Kia Joorabachian and Apocaplyse Now in the transfer threads were just pointers, City were and are ahead of the game on this.

Many things are ambigious (admittedly frustrating) for a variety of reasons and personal relationships.

Obviously, blues will be hurting - but please keep the faith with both the club and Carlos.

Joorabachian makes Paul Stretford look like a rank amateur.

There are elements to Carlos' displeasure, but it comes down to one cold truth MONEY.

A Rooney situation in many aspects. Tevez has such a close relationship with his agent - best man at his wedding, godfather to his children.

There is plenty of things to run on this. Tevez's situation is unique in that for the first time in his career, it is US who own him.

Keep the faith and a brighter January will emerge around the corner. Worst case scenario, it will be put to bed until the summer.

I would be more disappointed to see the club switch policy to pay a very rich man even more money. It sets the wrong example to everyone.

Sorry Tolmie but Carlos signed the request.

He has a long way back from here. Hero to zero in a matter of hours.

Appreciate the post TH and as you have alluded too, none of us know exactly what is going on behind the scenes but we do all know its about MONEY.

No problem with him or his agent wanting more. Its human nature but there is a right and proper way to go about it and handing in a transfer request is not the right way.

Sure Kia is a huge influence but Carlos is his own man and on this occasion, he has got it very very wrong.

Just like Rooney, he is now tainted and that will never ever go away.

Time for all to move on. We as a club have much more important business to attend too than just lining the pockets of Carlos and Kia...

Enlightening post TH, many thanks. Makes alot of sense if you take into account what is written on the OS. His agent asked for a contract extension. The club said no. If Tevez truly wanted to leave then why the request?

Whatever the outcome, the club will move onwards and upwards. It's not the end of the world. Great player, thanks and goodnight if he moves. I for one though will not stoop to the level of the RAGs and start with the whining, name calling and death threats recently seen with Rooney, and to some extent Tevez himself when he left them. He's been a great player, he's helped us move forward and we've paid him a shit load of money, and I do think enhanced his reputation since he joined us. He certainly didn't have such a high profile over the road.

Again, thanks for the info TH
