I hope some posters will appreciate why I did not want to drop a hand grenade re Carlos situation earlier in the week.

The Kia Joorabachian and Apocaplyse Now in the transfer threads were just pointers, City were and are ahead of the game on this.

Many things are ambigious (admittedly frustrating) for a variety of reasons and personal relationships.

Obviously, blues will be hurting - but please keep the faith with both the club and Carlos.

Joorabachian makes Paul Stretford look like a rank amateur.

There are elements to Carlos' displeasure, but it comes down to one cold truth MONEY.

A Rooney situation in many aspects. Tevez has such a close relationship with his agent - best man at his wedding, godfather to his children.

There is plenty of things to run on this. Tevez's situation is unique in that for the first time in his career, it is US who own him.

Keep the faith and a brighter January will emerge around the corner. Worst case scenario, it will be put to bed until the summer.
I would love to meet kia face to face. Sorry FIST to face.

I would be more disappointed to see the club switch policy to pay a very rich man even more money. It sets the wrong example to everyone.

Sorry Tolmie but Carlos signed the request.

He has a long way back from here. Hero to zero in a matter of hours.

I dont think this will go away. Tevez obviously thinks he's bigger than the club.
The team actually played better without him yesterday - better balanced and played as a unit. Those are things ive seen missing when Tevez has played.
He cant be allowed to get his own way and usurp the manager, otherwise we're just as bad as our neighbours.
He must be sold or got rid of somehow. It will fester and upset the dressing room. There are plenty of other replacements out there.

Whilst Carlos is still wearing blue and putting the effort in on the pitch then he will continue to get my support. BUT however it pans out the club and Mancini has my 100% support. Don't want to turn on the guy because it makes us no better than the rags BUT I don't want to see us give in and start handing out the £50's

I hate to question your ITK status but this post could have been knocked up by anybody with a basic knowledge of football and google.

The clubs official statement hints at what Tolmie is saying by stating that Carlos had wanted to extend his current deal by another year, but the club declined this. It also states that Carlos is already the highest paid player at the club.

If it is down to money I cant see why he would demand more if he is already the highest paid, at the only club that can afford them kind of wages. I say the club should make him sweat; offer him to Boca or River with a no euro team clause, if he really wants out due to homesickness lets put it to the test.

Tolm can defend himself without me but I will say look at his Kia thread from Monday or Tuesday (when this broke at the club) and what he says marries up undeniably.
