Only Robinho and possible Elano (on form) could be classed as world class football players.

But who has the potential to be in the team for were we are going, ireland looks like it for me but what about if they sign kaka or someone along them lines. Also onouha in my opinion he could be world class easily if he doesnt get injurys etc but would he be good enough to get us where we want to be ?

Shay Given

Elano has to show that he can cope with close marking before he can be considered World Class. Once he was identified by coaches as a threat last season, he was blotted out of games. he's improved this season, but needs to be consistent and produce against the top teams

Robinho is world class - but not always and not in this team. If he doesn't fit the system or the league then what's the point? Elano is a stone cold killer at penalties but I think SWP offers more out on the right. Ned is quality but surely can't be rated as 'world class', nor can Superman qualify for that accolade just yet. I hope we don't try and sign square pegs for round holes this off-season, I just want some quality players that play as a team and can get results away from COMS as well as at home.

Ireland and Onouha have the 'potential' to be world class.
