I am sorry for all of you dunney lovers but i have been saying this for ages and and after last night forget the kaka's and eto'o's and aguero's we really need to give everything into buying a world class centre half to partner Onuoha because dunne is awful. maybe terry or have you got any suggestions.

hmm i thought dunne was probably the best of a bad bunch. ned got pulled all over the place thanks to our right back, and didnt cope well.... dunne was plugging the gaps as best he could, with sweet fa cover from the midfield.

i thought before last season...at the friendly against valencia he was not good enough. he cannot play football at all. all he can do is defend, which at the top level, like we are aiming for, unless you are a vidic, cannavaro or nesta, which he isnt then that is not good enough. he cannot pass a ball and all he does is smash the ball forward, which looking at our forward line, does us fuck all as they are all tiny! if he is a top class defender like the ones i mentioned then it will make up for his frailties, but he isnt. he is not the captain or center back we need to take us forward and we need to thank him for all he has done for the club when we have been shit, but we need to move on!! we need a center half who can win the ball and start a passing move instead of smashing the ball forward and hoping someone wins the header.

Although we all love him we need a much better player!

none of the back 4 are performing for me at the moment but the worst by FAR is richards, how hughes can justify playing this guy in front of zabaleta is really starting to wind me up.

zabs comfortable in midfield. micah played many of his best games at right back. kompany and dejong were not available yesterday so zab HAD to play as a defensive midfielder. otherwise it would have been gelson, who is not up to scratch, or elano who just cant tackle. if we had another centreback we could have replaced richards with onuoha. cmon really, what else was hughes gonna do?

we desperately need a left back aswell. i know we have just baught bridge but alot of goals have been conceided through the left flank. he is more a left winger than a left back, he ave very restricted defencive capabilities
