I know this sounds ridiculous but i had a dream, that i was told by my dead nan we would play utd at wembley in may....really hope it was a sign would love it. payback time!!!

that sounds good enough to me!

this thread has pissed me off more than any other ive read.
what started as a valid question has turned into yet another slagfest.
here are the facts before i give opinion.
we were unlucky on sat.
we lost to goal of the season.
not one of our players underperformed. not one.
bobs tactics were spot on for the game.

now, as to meeting them in the cup, yes all day fuckin long i would take it.
even better if it was the final.
how else are we gonna assert our authority on them?
by winnin the channel 5 cup? they will just laugh.
by beating the them at wembley? i will say that again. by beating them at wembley? oh yes.
stop being so negative.
they are shittin it big time.
bring em on and keep bringin em on till we fuckin show em there pantomime is over.

Gutted about today, proud of the lads went there and looked the better side.
I really want those jammy, cheating t...ts in the cup assuming we beat NC and AV so we can really show em the tide is changing.

They have to get past Crawley first :)

...wot even more than that one bout wantin united to win the league this term ! ? !

Mate i too would luv to play em in the cup and stuff em royaly tho pippin em to the summit of the football league in my honest opinion would top knockin em out of the cup quarters, semi or final itself and that for me is wot i'd call really assertin our authority !

Untold can still happen from now till end of term...

Think we'd have enough to beat them at home, fuck going to Old Trafford again though.
we have in fact only ever been drawn at home against them in the last 45 years the league cup, 3 times, twice in the semis which ultimatley gives them the advantage, once in the quarters the day colin was struck down, the rest HAVE ALWAYS been at the swamp, with city getting beaten 4 times in the fa cup and i think once in the league cup? this all off memory so i could be wrong, if we did meet them i would prefer it to be at eastlands in the qtrs, what a day that would be?

...interestin post that mate tho facing em at home or theirs i'd deffo take the 9k awayday allday everyday if it came to it !

If we do draw them, and it's at home, for fucks sake, i hope we treat it like a cup game. The only way to beat the rags is to show them no respect and get stuck into them.People forget they have been thrashed in Europe, quite a few times in recent years, and those sides that have thumped them have gone out and attacked them.
