he had no out last season he had to attend, this season he has got an out and he is running for it for all he is worth, everyone knows it and everyone sees it, they will come up with a suitable excuse but i honestly think they are probably a little worried for his safety, he has become the public face of this with this trips to parliament etc etc and ill be honest he knows damn well he isnt welcome, so hes taken the out to save himself from any embarassment.
 
How many times in the past have the Premier League champions not been given the trophy the the PL CEO?

If this is the first time a club leading the league on the last day and expected to the title hasn’t had the PL chief executive hand it to them, and the reason is because of the ongoing case and optics, then I hope the club tell him to get his arse up to Manchester or we aren’t accepting the trophy from anyone else and we’ll have the celebration with one of our other 7 until he has the bollocks to do his job. See how he likes those optics.


If it’s a regular thing then…who cares? Get Aguero or Silva or Khaldoon back to hand it over to Walker (is it going to be Walker or KDB?)
