Looked good today as he was utilised in exactly the right way- steady the ship for the last 20 minutes when there were a few tired legs out there so he could keep up with the pace.

He certainly appears to be popular with the other players , and fair play to him for gettin' into position to get his goal ....... he's obviously in the latter years of a distinguished career , but he's enjoyin' himself!

I've always held the view that Viera's signing was somethinng to be tolerated as he was past his best but a great influence behind the scenes. The reaction to his goal today tells us all all we need to know about how he is respected in the dressing room. He may be frustrating nowadays, but his importance to us should not be underestimated.
