I flicked over a few times to the Everton/Reading game last night to check the score (inbetween watching the game at Stamford Bridge) and the Everton team seemed flat, with the atmosphere the same. There was little coming from the crowd and it seemd a bit like our game with Fulham on Sunday, when we looked similarly flat. We have a great chance tonight to lift the team and get us to a quarter final against a team from a division below us (a very good Reading team I might add). You can argue the toss all day about whether professional footballers, getting paid gazillions, should or shouldn't be knackered, but on Sunday they looked it. Its ultimately down to the team to perform, not the fans, but if we can lift them a fraction with some vocal support tonight, it may just be the difference and we may avoid falling flat in the manner Everton did. Worth a go isn't it?

I got my tickets today.

Unfortuantely i ended up in the North stand due to the ticket office insisting there were no two seats together anywhere else. I hope that is true, be pissed if not.
