Unbelievable how many people jump on the bandwagon with this hughes out campaign after a defeat, lets be honest lads after the last game last season if someone had told us we would have been in european contention with couple of games to go and have robbie on the team we would of snapped there hands off, we are now established as a top half team, Hughes has had one season in charge, in that he had only one day in the summer transfer window to spend some cash then the january window which is difficult anyway.

I personally think we have made good progress with a lot to still do but the signs are positive!
Good run in europe, good home form and a bunch of good signings, the areas to work on obviously our away form has been poor, better runs in both cup competitions, there is a fair amount of deadwood at the club should see fair bit of movement in the summer both in and out the door !

Lets get behind Hughes, the players and look forward to what should be a good season and then we can judge Hughes fairly after he has had a full transfer window to make the signings he believes we need.

Fuck that, he's spent £100,000,000 and has had a better squad for the majority of the season. I was a Hughes inner but now I'm seriously doubting him.

OK, and if someone had said we will finish the season just above Stoke Cith would you have snatched their other hand off?

Bandwagon? Look at what team Hughes sent out early doors? Check his first substitution. Check the improved performance second half. Tell me you dont think we'd be sitting pretty in seventh if Hughes had had the balls to try 4-4-2 more consistently during the season rather than as a knee jerk reaction of his own to adversity?

At last a bit of sense.............. still Hughes out!

Yeah I can't wait for Hughes to identify his targets and we end up with Crocky Santa Cruz who'll see more time in the physio room than on the pitch and we end up with the same deadwood shite having to make up the numbers because most of his signings are crocks.

I certainly wouldn't have snapped your hand off if you offered me a best possible position of 9th with a match to go. And I doubt there would have been 5% of blues that would have accepted that.

If you told me Robbie would have been in our time I would have thought you were crazy, but lets not forget that we spent quite a lot of money before the takeover - SWP, Kompany, Zabaleta, Jo. Certainly enough spending for me to expect improvement even before the takeover.

Lets get behind Hughes, the players and look forward to what should be a good season and then we can judge Hughes fairly after he has had a full transfer window to make the signings he believes we need.

If I think Hughes staying is not a good thing for the club why would I say any different. My loyalty is to the club, not the manager.
