so if he had led the team to a 7th place finish thats a success but 9th is failure and get him out the door ?
Today shows how close the margins are between success and failure, doesnt anyone else feel that getting rid of him now would be starting again? new manager may not fancy a lot of the team? fresh start then we are another season down the road of nothing!
If hughes doesnt do the business next season then fair enough, by business i mean a top 8 finish in the league at least one good cup run then time to change i just cant see any reason to change him after one season

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME HOW WE HAVE MADE PROGRESS,WE HAVE FINISHED 14TH AND 9TH IN THE LAST 2 SEASONS AND WILL BE THERE OR THEREABOUTS THIS SEASON,FULHAM HAVE PROGRESSED, EVEN SPURS AFTER THERE WOEFUL START AND BLACKBURN TO STAY UP.BUT FOR ALL THE MONEY LESLIE HAS SPENT WE HAVE NOT PROGRESSED ONE JOT.
