letter to FA ( warning longish )

Well i've got to give you credit for being the first poster on here to target their fire at the correct target. The standard of refereeing in this country used to be the envy of the world. Referees like Neil Midgeley and Clive Thomas would be spinning in their graves to witness the spineless arrogant overpaid prima donnas that currently officiate our game. Sure, they made mistakes, but they were HONEST mistakes, made without fear or favour. The referees we have these days are so intimidated when they referee the 'big' clubs, that they are no longer capable of doing the job properly, and your suggestion that we use foreign referees needs careful consideration.

spot on. we used to moan about foreign refs but now most are far better than ours.

good letter mate but doubt you'll get a response that isnt automated! btw what is the betting that we will have a major decision given against us today?

It is constructive. How are you supposed to write a good professional letter when their are spelling and grammatical errors?

pmsl

David Croft & Jimmy Perry couldn't have written anything funnier!!!

Comic genius!

to be honest i am very quickly falling out of love for football with all this going on week in, week out, the FA, Platini, and the likes.

When we were taken over i was over the moon, like most were, but i never thought i would be so disalutioned so quickly after.

When we went 1-0 down against Portsmouth, for the 1st time in my life i stopped watching. Am i excited about todays game v Liverpool- Nope.

The biggest factor though for me is the FA and the blatent cheating and bias towards so called top 4. Its not even worth watching a game if certain refs are appointed as you know you wont be allowed to win. The 2 previous Ronaldo kicks were alot worse than Wright-Phillips but they couldnt wait to throw the book at our player. 100% gauranteed the FA will say the ref saw it so they cant do anything, which means the ref is cheating.

As so ferguson, only his arrogance can ignore the sending off, goal by a player that shouldnt be on the pitch, penatly not given to other side, by all accounts Rooney was lucky to be on pitch also BUT he has the nerve to complain about an offside goal.

Whats funny is if we one year win the title its because we bought it.
If they win this year its simply down to the many (and there has been many this year) cases of them being handed points. Sendings off to turn the game, then rescinded, shocking penaltys given to them when scroes where 0-0, at least 10 points worth i reckon so far.
(and the fact that over the years they have also bought it)

Can someone please explain how "The ref seen it so we can't act" excuse that keeps flying about is viable, because if the ref did see it and did fcuk all surely the guy isn't good enough/too corrupt or has small pea sized balls- to be reffing in any league in the world let aloan in the premiership. When the ref dosn't act on blatent acts of thuggary cheating etc... surley then he is showning blantant incompetance to the job he is being paid highly to do. At the end of the day the only excuse the refs could give for some of these decisions recently is "that they didn't see it" but no, this isn't the excuse the ref is using. Its the F.A's excuse of not taking action is that he did see it ???!!!!
How can this shite wash, like in any profession when incompetance/ neglegence is shown, that would be it- P45 time. So why is this not the case with these bent fuks I can't get my head round how they can get away with it.

Its all starting to fcuk me off and they say we are the ones killing football- bollox.
