Level 2 behind either net

Looking at relocating tomorrow but just wondering if anybody sits in level 2 and knows if it’s the same as level 1 north stand where you stand up for every attack but immediately have to sit back down?

I would rather stand for the full game but for health reasons I can’t and it can get a little tedious the constant up downs all game, so would rather sit level 2 if possible and remain seated and just enjoy the game

sounds boring I know but 2 double hip replacements and now a crumbling disc doesn’t make for much fun l!

cheers

South Stand Tier 3, rows L backwards, sat all the time bar goals really.

Cheap seats, lift up to 3rd tier, more leg room etc, bars are crap for getting served though and they don't show the games on the tele's, never been sure why

I've sat in 233/234 ever since we moved to the City of Manchester Stadium.

Everyone sits down and it's a great view.

I dont understand why someone would pay to watch a game directly behind a net and at ground level.
It's cheap, you get the atmosphere and if you've got kids who want to see players and goals up close and don't like heights it makes sense. But yeah you will end up watching the match at home again to find out what really happened. Though tbh I need do that half the time anyway as fine details don't register with me when I'm excited and have had a couple of Amstel.

I was in there (234) unaccompanied, never once asked if I had a minor with me. And not many kids around me that day
Exactly. I have had a season ticket in 232 for about eight years. There was never any questions asked about children. A pal behind me was told he would have to move when his children ‘came of age’. That was around four or five years back. He and his group are are still there.

I’m in 231 Row E, last padded seat (long story after being turfed out of L2 East), sit with my Sister and 2 friends, never moving from there. @meeesh sits nearby as well, I probably know you by sight.

Never mind a family stand I think the club should dedicate a 3rd tier block in the East Stand to the Bluemoon FOC's. Definitely no standing, no cheering, no singing and no leaving early(unless you want to). Sit and moan all game about the transport, the ticket prices, the ticket office, the modern game, the lack of atmosphere. Reminisce about Maine Road, being shit, the Kippax bogs. You'd all have ball

I sit in the East Stand L3 and standing really pisses me off, but happily it only really happens after a goal. Plenty of places to stand in the ground if you want to, leave us FOCs with dodgy knees the ability to watch a game sitting down.

Now if you could have a word with whoever starts the stand up for the champions chant and ask for it just once a game, that's would do my joints wonders.

However the rest, cheering, swearing, abusing the ref etc is still a big part of EL3.

As are the 50,000 people who were at York away.

Amazing how dodgy knees can have an affect on an supporter.
STL3 lift every game.
Bus to stadium.
Wembley front row top tier if possible.
Away matches can be torture.
Half time a blessing.
Oh the joys of getting old.

Don't want to do a new thread so I'll ask here.

What's the concourses like in Level 2 behind the net, especially the SS end ? "Easy" or impossible to get a beer at half time? usually stand in 109 area but will look elsewhere for one match later this year

also is it padded seats throughout level 2 or just some fancier areas? ta!
