There’s quite afew on site, especially around city square area - not sure what he’s on about. There's quite a few on the site. It's one of the things we pushed for at City Matters.

Has anyone had that chicken and chips on the photo in the OP?
Sounds nice but would probably be crap.
Yes, "independent" not price fixed by the club, they have been there about 10 years. There’s quite afew on site, especially around city square area - not sure what he’s on about.
You deserve it for trying to have lunch at a football ground. Go and eat proper, nutritious food at half the price.Lunch time KO - Half time at food counter and bar. Also asked for a hot dog told 5 min wait. No just empty seats at home. Piss poor service for us in lv3.View attachment 60805View attachment 60806
What happened to the food van on the corner of Briscoe Lane - Riverpark Road. ?I’ve often wondered why there’s fuck all outside the grounds of the stadium to eat? You go to other grounds all over the country and they have independent food vans, dotted up the streets on the way to stadiums.
Just like with pubs around the Etihad, there are none of these food vans.
It is easy to solve, extra staff, but the club wont consider it sensible financially to employ extra for a 15 minute spike in business. A situation replicated up and down the country at matches. It’s been thus since Adam was a lad: The queues are too long and the service is too slow. Solve that conundrum and you’ll be a millionaire
Not on level 2I fill up with ale. No problems.
They might not have been expecting people to want to eat at half time :)

Tbf, what else are they supposed to do,the catering bars are card payment only and probably have no facilities to deal with cash?I have seen the catering/bar staff stealing in recent weeks …I bought 2 pints in the summerbee bar a couple of weeks ago and the bloke put my money straight in his pocket! My wife went to the bar at half time yesterday and the bloke in front of her paid in cash and the woman put the money straight in her bag !
Was about to comment something like that!Tbf, what else are they supposed to do,the catering bars are card payment only and probably have no facilities to deal with cash?
I was told once that the liscence laws on where you can set up limits this with 3 colleges also in the area so only a few can operated, there is one pitch near city works but not on match days, one near ashburys station and another I forget where.all three have a burger/food van on them weekdays so the pitches are not available to other traders on match days unless these one ls openI’ve often wondered why there’s fuck all outside the grounds of the stadium to eat? he used to do a cracking cheeseburger, melting the cheese with a blow lamp! What happened to the food van on the corner of Briscoe Lane - Riverpark Road. ?
CB3 & ES3 and no you can't walk round. SS3 is far superior but then it's newer I suppose. Other 3rd tier concourses are awful, god knows what they were thinking when designing the stadium.as I have never been on level 3 so is it all connected and you can walk right round?
I only ask because if not which level 3 stand is this thread on about
Or get there an hour before kick off. I usually have my dinner or tea on CBL3 depending on ko. Never any queues, plenty of choice, in fact, more assistants than customers.Take your own sarnies then you soft ****.
