I'd be pretty happy with that team tbh, although I'm not sure if Pep will make that many changes. Khusanov, Ait-Nouri, Reijnders and Marmoush certainly all need game time, but think he'll want to get qualification wrapped up as soon as possible before rotating too much.
Leverkusen are no mugs either.

Couple of changes

Marmoush instead of Cherki/ Foden. And reijnders instead of Bernardo. That’s it. Thank you.

Leverkusen have conceded 27 goals already this season. They appear to be an open side (they’ve had results including a 3-3, 3-4, 2-7, 2-4) like German sides often are, and it always suits us.

Our results at home under Pep against German sides:
4-1 v Dortmund
3-2 v Leipzig
3-0 v Bayern
7-0 v Leipzig
2-1 v Dortmund
6-3 v Leipzig
2-1 v Dortmund
7-0 v Schalke
2-1 v Hoffenheim
4-0 v Monchengladbach
10 wins out of 10… agg.= 40-9

They never seem to learn.

Savinho is so poor we could have played with ten players and not
noticed the difference. Outrageously poor and predictable, scared and lazy. I'm aorry to say it. Rejnders another low impact player with lousy form. Bob poor formvalso to be honest. With the triple switch I new we'd lose it.
To be honest I never saw much in Savinho when he was with Girona, only the odd fleeting half decent performance on youtube every now and again, and he definitely didn't convince me that he would prove to be a hit in a tougher league like the Premier League, or a top addition to our squad .... maybe with them being part of the CFG he was more of a 'convenience squad signing' than a player who could actually hold down a permanent first team place and seriously improve us.

I thought we might have seen an improvement in his performances after he signed his new contract and claimed he was now happy, but so far I haven't see it happen.

Interesting to see if Echeverri is a starter?
I didn't realise he was even back yet ... or is he still with Leverkusen after City said he was wasting his and their time by being there ?

If he is still there maybe they aren't allowed to play him in this game.

Edit ..... Yep, have checked, he is still there even though City don't want him to be, and he can play in the game tomorrow night IF Leverkusen select him .... which, so far, they haven't been doing much of .. hereby infuriating City !

Big game this in the context of the top 8
100% agree. Obviously we only have a one season sample size in terms of knowing exactly what's required but 12 months ago, 16 points was enough. Beat Leverkusen and we're on 13 and should be in good shape to comfortably be ok.
I'm not overly concerned with where we might finish within the top eight as Liverpool's experience last season shows that a high finish guarantees nothing. But just avoiding the playoff round with its two games in February could be very important, especially if we progress in both the domestic cups.

Love this time of year for football. Feels like there’s a game every day. Need to start using the squad now. I’d make a few changes at least.

Donnarumma; Nunes Stones Dias Ait-Nouri; Nico G Foden Reijnders; Marmoush Haaland Bobb.

Like your team. But I’d go Sav for Bobb.

3-2 win

Any appetite for resting Haaland and playing Marmoush?

I am not in favour of it but the idea did pop into my head. A lot of other football fans have labelled City a one man team. In part we are and we need to find other goalscoring threats. Marmoush is the obvious player but so far we haven't found a role for him with Haaland.

With a trip to Madrid , a likely defeat, coming up Pep under no circumstances will go down an experimental road for this one. 3 points are a must, the Germans are not mugs, and the manager will give them the respect they deserve.

Many posters in favour of rotation now and I can’t argue with that.
Minutes needed by Khusanov, Marmoush, Rodri (?), Bobb, Stones, Trafford.
City 4-1.

Tapsoba and Andrich suspended for them, altogether 7 missing.
We know Quansah as CB.
Aleix Garcia as double pivot with Maza.
Ech could well start, for psychological games.

They have stabilized after poor weeks.
They'll sit deep and go for the counter, packing the mid.

Bernardo and Sav on 2 yellows,
would miss Madrid away if being booked.

It's a long season and we need to rotate our defence as they have been poor. Stones, Ake and Khusanov should start.
How has our defence been poor? Dias has been very good this season, as has O'Reilly. Nunes is improving and has done pretty well. Gvardiol has been sloppy. Overall though, 10 goals in 12 League games is a good record.
