Liam Delap - Ipswich player 2024-25

Great goal, awesome to see him rediscovering he undoubted talent of his academy years, just a shame Callum Doyle was turned inside out as a result.

To be fair, great play by Liam but Doyle didn't do too much wrong either. He showed him outside but then Delap cut back and hit it quickly. He hadn't beaten him all ends up (though he could possibly have got a challenge in).

Most of the time you'd be fairly happy to see someone hit one from there as it's not a great scoring chance. The keeper really should have dealt with it.

Really good play though for the goal. Great ball wide and the control and approach by Delap was spot on.

The goalie looked to be far too close to his near post and too slow to move back. Perhaps Doyle could have been closer when the shot came in but to call it a blunder by him is just idiotic.

Not so idiotic for BM to be fair :)

It showed Doyles lack of experience and lack of pace,no biggy though,he'll learn from it.

Liam's confidence must be soaring again.

One to keep an eye on always believed in his talent, let's not forget Kane was a bit of late developer and had to be loaned to quite a few Championship clubs before he got his chance at Spurs. Hopefully he continues to do well for Hull
