£20m sky saying, much more than I’d have expected
Personally I think he has the potential to be a top PL striker and potential long term England no.9. Needs to stay fit and get regular playing time up front though, not on the wing like at Hull.
I think he might end up a bit like Sturridge - his best level is good enough to play at the top level, but injuries seem like they're going to follow him around, he's had 4 or 5 big ones in the last 5 years or so.
Hoping its age and general growing pains. I remember Gerrard being so injury prone as a kid too. Haaland another decent example, though not to the same extent.
I thought he tried hard and showed good technique and strength to hold the ball up, especially since his teammates were often significantly deeper and unable to support. Should enjoy a good career, but whether Ipswich Town will create sufficient chances for him to be prolific is another matter.i thought he played good today..if we ever spend money on a Haaland back-up we should consider him
Agree. Don't know if it was frustration or malice but was overly physical and lucky not to get bookedI thought he crossed the line between physical and dirty bastard today.
