Will we see him start a game before the next round of Carabao which is end of December?

Kun, Jesus both out. Sterling needs 5 good chances for a goal. Mahrez dont get me started on him.

No question. We don’t have anyone else and there’s too many games to play to keep rotating false nines.
 
Scored again today for the EDS. Pep will keep on playing Sterling or Mahrez as false 9 until one of the strikers returns though
 
He should have scored 3 or 4 today, especially as Arsenal played over 80 minutes with a 16 year old centre back in goal. But he’s definitely too good for EDS level, in hindsight maybe he should have been named in the CL squad ahead of Zinchenko.
 
I want him to get chances, but dont be too impressed by a video from twitter.

This game, and his last games with the EDS he has missed ALOT of goals. Dont want him getting roasted by city fans when he misses some chances.

That being said, I want him to play.

What we should have ensured is that we use the maximum players you can use in the Champions league and Premier league. We have only 21 where with proper long term planning we can have 25 plus the extra players on the b list. An expensive squad should not be forced to be using Scott Carson to make up the numbers in a Champions league match.

He’s probably complacent because it’s too easy for him - the chip that the keeper tipped onto the bar last week looked like someone pissing about with their pals in the park; in the same situation in the first team, he’d likely have drilled it into the bottom corner.

It must be hard to drop back down and still be motivated after excelling with the seniors - if there’s no intention for him to feature regularly he should be sent out on loan in January.

He played well in that game,made constant good runs and gave Leicesters defence a hard time,his presence helped create opportunities and space for others too.He was just incredibly unlucky not to get his own reward,but regardless..... his head never went down.

Management should be all over pushing/developing this kid,especially so given the situation we find ourselves.
 
Scored a belter for the EDS against Arsenal on Saturday.......at the same time the first team was in need of another option up front.
 
I’d give him a go. Against Leeds when we had no striker and we played a false 9, there was huge hole in positioning where a striker would be. We need to play someone who knows the position and will take up runs to occupy defenders.

if he is good enough Pep and coaching team will give him a go. If he is not ready, he will not be played.
