Ipswich have adopted a quite physical/robust approach in both matches of the season, so Delap fits in well.He looked a very limited player. Just a big lump who put himself about...in other words kicked anyone within range. In fairness he is playing for Ipswich.
I was going to say the same, whenever we played Derby I think he got sent off and it always seemed very personal and nasty. He now seems to be doing the same playing for Ipswich against us. God knows what his thinking is or whether he's just easy to wind up to put him off his game. As for playing for us again? Not a scoobies. No surprise. He was sent off twice in academy matches against Derby, where we signed him from. Seems a bit of a deadhead. Until he learns he will not properly progress and he is building a reputation that will be difficult to shake off. Kick City off the park, however, and no harm is done.
He was the same in the EDS - not a new thing at allAgree. Don't know if it was frustration or malice but was overly physical and lucky not to get booked
Now i remember Delaps first touch as being okay, with a decent skill set and good pace, but he concentrated on his Physicality too much as it was the easy option. That it what i saw against Ipswich, so not much improvement, you might have seen different. That’s bollocks - in the academy his first touch was really poor at times and balls would just bounce off him. Now his hold up plays is excellent, and I’d argue he’s probably better at it than Haaland.
He disrupted our defenders more than most 9s that play for the bus parking teams.was poor on Saturday,
Just a fouling merchant

Has actually made me realise how few fouls Haaland makes.
There’s definitely potential, but he has to win the battle against Broja to be first choice striker first.I think he is going to turn out to be a very effective striker. Time will tell, but judging any striker playing against us is very difficult.
Broja aint going apparently. Unless something changed since Sunday???There’s definitely potential, but he has to win the battle against Broja to be first choice striker first.
More like a brilliant defender judging by those foulsI think he is going to turn out to be a very effective striker. Time will tell, but judging any striker playing against us is very difficult.
Thought it was all sorted. Be good if it isn’t and Delap gets a prolonged opportunity.Broja aint going apparently. Unless something changed since Sunday???
FWIW I thought he was good against us.
SSN reported it might be back on now, so who knows????Thought it was all sorted. Be good if it isn’t and Delap gets a prolonged opportunity.
And would be good for our sell on %!SSN reported it might be back on now, so who knows????
I agree with you Delap needs an injury free season to see how he develops. There's definitely something there.
