Why sign Gyokores (sorry if spelling wrong) for £60m plus when Delap is literally doing the same thing for half the price?
Prefer that we would have had the foresight to have known what he’d become and kept him .When does the buy back clause run out. I’d prefer to leave him for a bit and sort the midfield and defence out and pick him up after all that’s sorted
Very similar to haaland and I was saying in the Leicester match thread any time haaland has an oʻopportunity to run straight in space he should do it like delap does. For this reason I feel we should look at a more versatile forward who can also get minutes in and around haaland however delap will be at a top side one day and if he wants to try city then id take him back

Buy back means nothing if the player doesn’t want to come. Would he rather be seen as a £60m player at Chelsea playing champions league football or a €30m player playing Europa league football if we miss out on champions league which is a possibility this year

if we don't take this advantage of a buy back knowing we could sell him for profit if he don't make it or settle into our team! I'd say our board are absolutely Brian dead and then the question should be why even Bother with a buyback just put in a bigger sell on clause instead!!

Getting him in Jan is the biggest no brainer in the history of the transfer market if the buy back clause exists.
We have wingers who do not score and are far too reliant on Haaland for goals. I mean we have a defender as our second highest scorer!
You look at our bench and there is a minimal goal threat.

As a big striker myself back in the day, I can tell you that I watch him with interest. He’s a sprinter, not a jogger, so when he goes, he goes, but when he doesn’t get the ball, he has to recover.
Throw in the fact that anytime the ball is near him, he is in a wrestling match, and I think you’ll find he’s working his arse off.
