I think Liam would be a good Haaland backup. Having said that, that's not really a priority signing, IMO. A DM, a RB, and a CM all ahead on the list of priorities, IMO.

I think it was 15m plus 5m addons with a 20% sell on or something similar.

That's the potential issue, with selling our Academy players.
We will always have to pay more, to re-sign them.
Otherwise, Ipswich (or whoever) may not have signed him.
For every Delap (agree he hasn't been exceptional) there are many ex-Academy players we have sold who will never achieve the required level to warrant a re-sign...

He’s got 6 goals for a terrible side in his first season in the league, is that not enough?

We should never have sold him in the first place, but he should stay at Ipswich and actually play games

I really don't see this being a problem unless we can't deregister players.

For instance, just removing Rodri and any one of our underperforming players would turn that number into five.

Is this a good move? Delap needs be starting not sat on our bench and I’m not sure I want to move McAtee on - he should be playing at the moment.
