I like the Gallaghers but I think anything you read about them and City should be taken with a pinch of salt, they're not the mouthpiece of the club and never claimed to be.

the whole point of oasis was it was a manchester band - i was disappointed when bonehead, guigs and tony mc left / were sacked... 1st album out of this world, 2nd album amazing, masterplan brilliant, but after he turned into a john lennon clone at knebworth what have they done since ?

Dont Go Away, Gas Panic, Roll it Over, Stop Crying Your Heart Out, Importance of Bein Idle, Lyla to name a few and loads loads more.

One of the reasons why they dont go to matches often is beacuse they are on tour. This tour started in August last year. If Liam went and sat with the crowd, do you thing he would be able to watch the match with all the mithering he'd get. I saw this at first hand when I seen Noel at Leicester away and arsenal away.

I play in the northern quarter most weekends and hes right,you struggle to hear a mancunian accent all night.

Im all for the city moving forward and becoming a "destination" but it does seem to be loosing its identity to me
